Collectives are the best format for collaboration. True, they can just be about sharing the rent, but I work with collectives to be a co-author and to see a thing come to life that could only be possible as the result of multiple minds working together. The process is difficult, there are always challenges along the way, but the end product is something you couldn’t have imagined yourself. In fact if your collaboration looks like what you imagined at the start – you’re not collaborating!

mucca pazza: the joy factor

“Clowning constantly but playing precisely, Mucca Pazza’s compositions invoke a world of brass bands and marching bands, from American high-school style to zigzagging Balkan tunes to something akin to a Fellini soundtrack – fun in a relentless way.” – The New York Times
